Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G500 Captain for a managed-aircraft operation based at John Wayne Airport (KSNA) in Santa Ana, California. This Captain role is responsible for the safe and compliant operation of the Gulfstream G500, ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, and integrity for the operator's clients.

About the Role

As Pilot-in-Command, the Captain of the Gulfstream G500 will oversee all aspects of flight operations. This includes comprehensive pre-flight duties such as reviewing aircraft maintenance status, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, and meticulously planning weather, en-route facilities, and airport conditions. The Captain is accountable for safeguarding passengers, crew, and the aircraft while ensuring adherence to company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). This position operates on an on-call basis, supporting the travel needs of Solairus Aviation's clients.

Requirements

• Minimum flight experience of 3,000 hours total time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours multi-engine land (MEL) experience.
• Minimum 500 hours multi-engine land PIC time.
• Minimum 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• Minimum 250 hours instrument time.
• Must possess a type rating on the Gulfstream G500 or a comparable aircraft.
• Must hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis is required.
• Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• A primary residence within a two-hour drive of KSNA, or a willingness to relocate, is necessary.
