Gulfstream G550 Captain - South Florida
Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gulfstream G550 Captain to join its operations in South Florida. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Safe and Prudent Aircraft Operation: The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft, adhering to all relevant regulations, including:
- Pre-Flight Preparation: Thorough review of aircraft maintenance status, completion of a comprehensive pre-flight inspection according to the Aircraft Flight Manual, and meticulous weather and facility checks along the planned route and at all airports, including alternates.
- Flight Execution: Ensuring that all flights are conducted in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Safety First: Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
- Documentation: Accurate completion of all trip paperwork in compliance with current procedures.
Qualifications:
- Flight Experience:
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- MEL PIC: 500 hours
- Turbo Jet Experience: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 250 hours
- Specific Qualifications and Certifications:
- Type Rating: Gulfstream G550 or comparable aircraft
- Medical Certification: First Class Medical required
- Availability: Must be available to work on an on-call basis
- Training: Ability to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
- Residence: Primary residence within a two-hour drive of South Florida airports.
Additional Information:
Solairus offers a competitive compensation package that is determined based on market conditions and factors such as geographic location, experience level, aircraft type, job duties, training, and account assignment. The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $500,000.
