Pilot - Global Aviation
ConocoPhillips, the world's leading exploration and production energy company, seeks a skilled and experienced Pilot to join its Global Aviation Team. This position supports the company's extensive worldwide business interests and operations, transporting over 140,000 passengers annually. The Global Aviation group operates a diverse fleet encompassing aircraft such as the Gulfstream G550/600, Citation Latitude, Embraer ERJ145, Bombardier Q400, Twin Otter, and a Casa 212.
Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all operating policies and procedures outlined in the Flight Operations Manual.
- Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor while demonstrating confidence in all interactions.
- Exhibits adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing schedules.
- Ensures passenger service requirements are met to the highest standards.
- Works effectively and efficiently with a high degree of self-motivation, requiring minimal direct supervision.
- Performs comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft.
- Completes necessary records and entries in aircraft logbooks and operational forms.
- Operates the aircraft in strict compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.
- Demonstrates a willingness and ability to travel extensively and remain in locations outside of the assigned home station for extended periods.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Basic/Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Holds a current and valid driver's license.
- Possesses a current and valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot License.
- Holds a current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certification.
- Holds a current and valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Successfully completes Transportation Security Administration screening for access to restricted airspace and airports.
- Accumulates a minimum of 2,000 total flight hours.
- Accumulates a minimum of 500 turbojet flight hours.
- Physically capable (with or without reasonable accommodation) of lifting up to 75 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Aviation, Aeronautics, or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
- Experience in military VIP, corporate, or business aviation flight operations.
- Type-rated with a minimum of 500 hours in the Embraer ERJ-145.
- Experience operating in an advanced technology cockpit equipped with EFIS and FMS systems.
- Experience with leading standards, training, safety, ISBAO, Emergency Response Plan, or manual writing.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exhibits a proven ability to deliver positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goals.
- Demonstrates the ability to build effective solutions based on available information and make timely decisions that are safe and ethical.
- Fosters positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals.
Conditions of Employment:
- Successful completion of all required initial or recurrent training and proficiency checks for the aircraft type.
- Zero history of drug or alcohol-related incidents.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical evaluation.
- Successful completion of all background requirement checks.
- No unresolved FAA violations.
