Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Phenom 300 Second-in-Command (SIC) to join an operation based at KPWK airport in Wheeling, IL. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member dedicated to achieving excellence in all performance aspects, contributing to a culture of safety, service, and integrity while meeting client travel needs.
About the Role

Responsible for the safe operation of the Phenom 300 aircraft.

Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to the Aircraft Flight Manual, company policies, and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Review aircraft maintenance status and conduct thorough pre-flight inspections.

Evaluate weather and facility conditions for the intended route and alternate airports.

Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.

Accurately complete all required trip paperwork.
Requirements

Total flight time: 1,000 hours

Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 500 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 500 hours

Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 100 hours

Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 100 hours

Instrument flight time: 75 hours

Must be able to work on an on-call basis.

Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.

Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KPWK or willingness to relocate.
Qualifications

Type rated on Phenom 300 or comparable aircraft.

First-class medical certificate required.
