Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated full-time Phenom 300 Captain to join their operation based in Wheeling, IL (KPWK airport), serving the greater Chicago area. This integral role involves the safe and expert operation of a Phenom 300 aircraft, adhering to the company's stringent safety, service, and integrity standards.

This Retainer Phenom 300 Captain position requires a standout colleague committed to excellence in all aspects of performance. The successful candidate will join a hardworking team focused on safely and expertly meeting clients' travel needs. Key responsibilities for the Phenom 300 Pilot include:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Phenom 300 aircraft.
• Conducting flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
• Performing comprehensive pre-flight inspections as per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting thorough checks of weather and facilities along the planned route, including alternate airports.
• Guaranteeing the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and crew members.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork.

Requirements

Candidates for this Phenom 300 Captain role must meet the following flight hour requirements:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument: 250 hours

Qualifications

• Type rated on Phenom 300 or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive from KPWK or willingness to relocate.
