Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Challenger 605 & 650 Captain to join our flight operations team based at Laurence G. Hanscom Field (KBED). This position supports a two-aircraft operation involving a Challenger 604 (Fusion avionics) and a Challenger 605 (Pro Line 21 advanced avionics). The successful candidate will join a hardworking team committed to safety, service, and integrity, facilitating heavy international flight operations that include regular weekend and holiday availability.

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and prudent operation of the Challenger 604 and 605 aircraft.
• Perform comprehensive pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Review the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight analysis of weather, route facilities, and destination/alternate airports.
• Operate flights in strict compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Maintain the safety and security of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all trip paperwork and documentation.

Qualifications

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC Time: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours
• Type rated on CL605/650 or comparable aircraft
• Valid First Class Medical certificate

Specific Requirements

• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KBED, or a willingness to relocate.

Compensation

Solairus offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with industry standards. Compensation for crewmembers typically ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, determined by factors including geographic area, professional experience, equipment type, specific job duties, training, and the assigned account.
