Key Responsibilities
The First Officer is expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and operational excellence:
- Collaborates directly with the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to ensure the safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant execution of all assigned flights and maneuvers.
- Actively assists the PIC in pre-flight planning, systems checks, and necessary documentation to prepare the aircraft for departure.
- Provides critical support to the PIC, along with passenger service personnel and ground crews, guaranteeing punctual scheduling and streamlined processes for an on-time departure.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of the aircraft operating manual, company policies, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates applying for the First Officer position must satisfy the following essential criteria:
- Must have attained a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years.
- Possession of an active FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate is mandatory, accompanied by both Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
- The applicant must hold a current and unrestricted FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- An English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) must be clearly visible on the Airman Certificate.
- Must be a United States citizen or legally authorized to work permanently within the U.S.
