Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as Assistant Chief Pilot
  • Must be willing to follow all FAA regulations, company policies, and best practices
  • Must be available for overnight, weekend, and holiday trips during scheduled hours
  • Must be able to work varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays during scheduled days
  • Must live within 1 hour of Salt Lake International Airport, or must be willing to relocate within 3 months of hire
  • Promotes SkyShare’s SMS program, safety, standards, and quality in support of a Just Culture
  • Ensures positive communications and information flow between SkyShare and pilots
  • Ensures compliance with SkyShare (LHA) GOM, Flight Crew Policy Manual, and applicable FAR’s
  • Assists in the oversight of crew assignments as directed by the Chief Pilot
  • Schedule all training events with our contract facilities and accurately tracking all training requirements
  • Assists with the maintenance of flight department operating procedures
  • Assists with oversight of pilot training records, medical records, FAA checks, duty logs, flight logs, I-PAD / EFB updates, and Ops Spec updates, and works closely with Chief Pilot andDO
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Create new SOPs as needed
  • Assists in developing and/or implementing all required training programs for flight crews
  • Assist with company training, as needed
  • Perform Pilot-in-command or Second-in-Command duties, as needed
  • Assuming any responsibilities delegated by the CP or DO

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid FAA 1st Class Medical
  • Valid US Passport
  • Valid US State Driver’s License
  • Prior Part 135 experience required

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) required background screening, secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges

Compensation:

  • Negotiable, depending on experience
