About the Role

NICHOLAS AIR is seeking an experienced Chief Pilot to join its team at its headquarters in Oxford, Mississippi. This full-time management position oversees flight crew qualifications, training, checking, standardization, and professional development. The Chief Pilot will collaborate with the Director of Operations on regulatory compliance and safety initiatives, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will maintain aircraft qualification and currency in company aircraft.

Requirements

• Must meet all applicable Chief Pilot qualification requirements of 14 CFR §§ 119.69 and 119.71.
• Must hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with appropriate ratings, including ATP Unrestricted and ATP Restricted.
• Must hold a type rating in at least one aircraft operated by NICHOLAS AIR.
• For first-time Chief Pilots, a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the preceding six (6) years as Pilot in Command in Part 121 or Part 135 operations is required.
• Must be capable of maintaining qualification and currency in a NICHOLAS AIR aircraft as required by company policy and regulatory requirements.
