Pilot-in-Command Position
A highly skilled and experienced aviator is sought for the position of Pilot-in-Command. This individual will bear ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the well-being of its occupants. The role demands a meticulous professional with a strong commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2,500 hours of total flight time is required.
- The candidate must possess at least 500 hours of multi-engine land experience.
- A valid Multi-Engine Commercial Pilot Certificate is mandatory; an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate is strongly preferred.
- Possession of a valid passport is necessary.
- The candidate must maintain 90-day currency.
Key Responsibilities:
The Pilot-in-Command is directly responsible for all facets of the flight, including, but not limited to:
- Ensuring the flight is conducted in a safe and efficient manner. The Pilot-in-Command may delegate tasks to the Second-in-Command (SIC) but retains ultimate accountability.
- Procuring and rigorously assessing all pertinent weather information and flight planning data to ensure comprehensive pre-flight preparation.
- Verifying the aircraft is loaded correctly, ensuring it is within prescribed weight and balance limitations, thereby guaranteeing safe flight characteristics.
