Launched in 2012 with a vision to disrupt the low-cost carrier category, Scoot has rapidly expanded from a fleet of three Boeing 777-200 aircraft to a modern family of over 50 aircraft. Our fleet includes the industry-leading Airbus A320 family and the wide-body Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with the Embraer E190-E2 set to join in 2024. Position Summary
Scoot is seeking a dedicated and professional First Officer to join its flight operations team. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the Captain to ensure the safe, efficient, and on-time operation of our aircraft. As a key member of the flight crew, the First Officer is instrumental in upholding the highest standards of safety and delivering the unique "Scootitude" experience to all passengers.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1,500 total hours on fixed-wing aircraft.
- Aircraft Experience: Flight time must be on aeroplanes with a Maximum Take-off Mass (MTMA) of 5,700kg or greater.
- Pilot License: A valid ICAO CPL(A) or ATPL(A) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). Foreign license holders must be eligible for license conversion, which requires an instrument rating and a proficiency check with at least six months of validity.
- English Proficiency: Demonstrate the ability to speak and understand English to a minimum of ICAO Level 4.
- Health: Must satisfy all current vaccination requirements as mandated by CAAS.

Training and Development
Successful candidates will be provided with comprehensive, fleet-specific Aircraft Type Rating training where applicable. This training is subject to a co-payment of the training cost, and candidates will be required to enter into a training bond with the company.
Recruitment Process
The selection process for qualified applicants will proceed through the following stages:
- Initial Screening: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a series of online aptitude tests.
- Assessment Centre: Successful candidates will be invited to an Assessment Centre in Singapore, which includes group exercises and an individual interview.
- Final Assessment: The final stage involves a Simulator Assessment and a Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) Assessment, conducted over a two-day period.
