Scoot is a dynamic, low-cost carrier that has experienced significant growth since its inception in 2012. The First Officer works in close collaboration with the Captain to ensure the highest standards of safety, comfort, and on-time performance, while embodying the brand's unique service culture.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 1500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time on aeroplanes with a Maximum Take-Off Mass (MTOM) of 5700kg or more.
  • Hold a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) issued ICAO CPL(A) or ATPL(A). Candidates with a foreign ATPL must undergo licence conversion, including an instrument rating and a proficiency check with at least six months of validity.
  • Demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum of ICAO Level 4.
  • Satisfy all vaccination requirements mandated by the CAAS.

Training and Bond Information

Selected candidates may be required to undertake an Aircraft Type Rating for their assigned fleet. Where applicable, successful applicants will be responsible for a co-payment of training costs and will be required to enter into a formal training bond.

Selection Process

  • Aptitude Testing: Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a series of online aptitude assessments.
  • Assessment Centre: Successful candidates from the initial stage will be invited to an Assessment Centre in Singapore, which includes both group exercises and individual interviews.
  • Final Evaluation: Finalists will undergo a comprehensive two-day process, consisting of a simulator assessment and a personality evaluation.
