First Officer Job Description

Scoot, a leading low-cost carrier established in 2012, manages a modern fleet of over 50 aircraft, including the Airbus A320 family, Boeing 787 Dreamliners, and the upcoming Embraer E190-E2. We are currently seeking professional First Officers to join our flight operations team. In this role, you will work closely with the Captain to ensure safe, comfortable, and on-time flight operations while consistently delivering the signature Scootitude experience to our passengers.

First Officer Requirements

Total fixed-wing flight time of more than 1,500 hours on aeroplanes with a Maximum Take-off Mass (MTOM) of 5,700kg or more.

License and Certification Requirements

Possession of a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) issued ICAO CPL(A) or ATPL(A). Candidates with a foreign ATPL must undergo license conversion, including an instrument rating and a proficiency check with a minimum of 6 months' validity.
Proficiency in English with a minimum ICAO Level 4 certification.
Full compliance with all CAAS vaccination requirements.

Training and Development

Successful candidates will receive training to acquire an Aircraft Type Rating for their assigned fleet. Please note that this training involves a co-payment of costs and a mandatory training bond.

Selection Process

Shortlisted applicants will proceed through the following stages:

Completion of online aptitude assessments.
Attendance at an Assessment Centre in Singapore, featuring group exercises and individual interviews.
A two-day final assessment phase comprising a simulator evaluation and a personality assessment.
