Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with the Captain to ensure the highest standards of flight safety and operational efficiency.
- Execute flights in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Contribute actively to providing a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience for all passengers.
- Maintain punctual flight schedules, contributing to Scoot's reputation for reliability and operational excellence.
- Act as an ambassador for Scoot, embodying the brand's vibrant "Scootitude" and delivering outstanding customer service.
First Officer Requirements
Flight Experience
- A minimum of 1500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time.
- Demonstrated significant experience on aeroplanes with a Maximum Take-Off Mass (MTMA) of 5700kg or more.
Licensing and Language Proficiency
- Possession of an ICAO Commercial Pilot License (CPL(A)) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL(A)) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).
- Foreign ATPL holders will be required to undergo a licence conversion process, which necessitates an instrument rating and a proficiency check with a minimum of six months' validity.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English, meeting a minimum of ICAO English Level 4.
Health and Regulatory Compliance
- Ability to satisfy all vaccination requirements as mandated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).

Training & Career Development
- Where applicable, successful candidates will receive Aircraft Type Rating training for their assigned fleet, ensuring readiness for flight operations.
- Pilots who are provided with type rating training will be subject to a co-payment of the associated training costs and will be required to enter into a training bond agreement with Scoot.
Application Process
- Stage 1: Online Assessment - Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a series of comprehensive online aptitude tests designed to assess key aviation competencies.
- Stage 2: Assessment Centre - Candidates successful in the online assessment stage will proceed to an Assessment Centre in Singapore, which will comprise a group assessment and an individual interview.
- Stage 3: Simulator & MMPI Assessment - Finalists will undertake a two-day assessment period, including a rigorous Simulator Assessment and a Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) Assessment.
