Job Description

Requirements

• Candidates must be a current Boeing 777 pilot (First Officer or above), or have the Boeing 777 as their most recent type rating.
• Possession of a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) / Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) or Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) with frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), or a full ATPL. Licenses must be recognized by or validated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). Information regarding foreign license eligibility can be verified through official channels.
• A minimum of 1500 total multi-crew flying hours on jet engine aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 20 tonnes. Applicants with fewer than 1500 hours but more than 700 hours on such aircraft may be considered based on merit and may be subject to an extended training program if successful.
• Candidates must hold the following valid certifications:
  • Class 1 Medical Certificate (recognized by or validated by CAAS).
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above for in-flight radio-telephony communications.
  • Certificate of Test - Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.

Selection Process

All interview stages for this position will be conducted in Singapore. The comprehensive selection process includes an initial online application, an interview with senior management, a practical simulator assessment, and a thorough medical check-up.

Training

Where applicable, successful candidates will receive comprehensive training to acquire the necessary Aircraft Type Rating for their assigned fleet.

Employment

Successful candidates may be assigned to any fleet within the SIA Group, including B747, B777, or B787 aircraft.
