In your day-to-day leadership, cabin crew are at the center and in focus through strong communication, collaboration and trust.
Your daily workplace is Crew Base Oslo with occasional visits to the head office in Stockholm. Crew Base Oslo currently has approximately 800 full-time equivalents, and more are being recruited. Including you, - there will be five Cabin Managers in Crew Base Oslo. The position reports to the Head of Cabin Crew, who is organizationally located at Stockholm Head Office with regular visits to cabin crew bases. Cabin Manager will be part of the local management team in Crew Base Oslo and part of the management team for the Scandinavian cabin crew
As a Cabin Manager, you will have personnel responsibility for around 200 cabin crew. Cabin Manager's overall goal is to create the conditions for cabin crew to achieve safety, punctuality, and care objectives, and to provide our customers with competitive customer service. An important focus of your leadership is to ensure that cabin crew have insight and understanding of SAS' operational & financial KPI’s, commercial offerings, and customer goals. You need to inspire your group of cabin crew and always keep "employee engagement" in mind. In the role as Cabin Manager, you are responsible for delivery and follow-up, communication, development and change work, competence development activities and recruitment processes.
You are responsible for ensuring that cabin crew have the prerequisites to comply with the standard procedures for SAS Aviation Operations and coordinating scheduling issues with workforce planning.
You will also be responsible for the delegated daily working environment to Oslo Cabin Crew, and thus work with the working environment.
You will be included in a team responsible for sharing an "urgent phone clock".
