Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is seeking motivated individuals to join its team as Cabin Crew and Air Stewards. SAS is currently recruiting for various base locations across Scandinavia, including Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Bergen.

Position Overview

Successful candidates will join a dedicated team responsible for ensuring passenger safety, delivering exceptional onboard service, and representing the SAS brand. Specialist onboard service opportunities are available for candidates with strong hospitality, culinary, or premium service backgrounds. Applicants may be experienced cabin crew or individuals looking to transition into a career in aviation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18 years (20 years for Norway-based roles).
  • Completed high school education or equivalent.
  • Height: Between 160 cm and 190 cm (without shoes).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong swimming proficiency.
  • Valid EU passport with full rights to travel worldwide.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Compliance with local residency and commuting requirements for the selected base.
  • Strict adherence to SAS uniform regulations.

Professional Competencies

For experienced cabin crew applicants: A valid EASA Attestation and Medical, along with a minimum of one year of continuous experience as Senior Cabin Crew within the past five years, is required.

Security and Medical Standards

Employment is subject to the successful completion of the following:

  • Comprehensive security assessment, including a 5-year background check, reference checks, and a clean criminal record.
  • Medical examination meeting EASA requirements, including vision standards (+/- 0.7 with or without correction).
  • Successful completion of drug and alcohol screening.
  • Aviation authority approval for work within security-restricted airport areas.

Recruitment Process
