Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is actively recruiting for Cabin Crew positions across Scandinavia, including Air Hosts/Hostesses and Air Stewards in Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo. About the Role
As Cabin Crew at SAS, individuals will be responsible for maintaining onboard safety standards, providing excellent customer service, and representing the airline. Air Stewards will have additional duties related to food and beverage service, particularly for premium offerings. This position is ideal for those seeking a dynamic career in aviation, whether they are experienced professionals or new to the industry.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years (20 years for Norway base locations).
- Completion of high school education or equivalent.
- Height between 160 cm and 190 cm (without shoes).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong swimming abilities.
- A valid EU passport enabling worldwide travel.
- Availability to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to meet local residency and commuting requirements for the chosen base.
- Compliance with SAS uniform regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in hospitality, sales, food & beverage service, restaurants, hotels, catering, or events is advantageous.
- Specialist onboard service roles may favor candidates with backgrounds in hospitality, culinary arts, wine service, or premium service.
- Previous Cabin Crew experience is beneficial but not mandatory for all roles.
- For experienced Cabin Crew: A valid EASA Attestation and Medical, along with a minimum of one year of continuous Senior Cabin Crew experience within the last five years.
- Employment is contingent upon passing an approved Security Assessment, including a security interview, 5-year background check, reference checks, and a clean police record.
- Successful completion of the required training course and meeting all company employment criteria.
- Good physical and mental health, with vision of +/- 0.7 (with or without correction), and the ability to obtain medical approval per EASA regulations.
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol tests.
- Approval by relevant aviation authorities for working within airport security restricted areas.
- All prerequisites must be met before commencing Cabin Crew training.
