SAS Scandinavian Airlines - Experienced Airline Captain Opportunity
SAS Scandinavian Airlines is actively seeking applications from highly qualified and experienced individuals to join its distinguished flight crew as an Airline Captain. Minimum Requirements for Pilot Applicants:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 4000 hours of total flight time is required.
- Pilot in Command (PIC) in Type: Candidates must possess at least 1000 hours as Pilot in Command on type.
- Turbine Aircraft Experience: A minimum of 2000 hours accumulated on turbine aircraft.
- Specific Aircraft Experience: Applicants should demonstrate 2000 hours or more in jet aircraft or high-speed turboprop aircraft.
- Type Rating: A current and valid type rating is mandatory for this position.
- Nordic Winter Operations: Demonstrated experience with Nordic winter flight operations is essential.
- License Requirement: Possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- License Holder Eligibility: Open to EASA license holders. Please note that non-Scandinavian EASA licenses are accepted but must be converted prior to the course start date.
- Medical Certificate: Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency: Achieve an ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 5 or higher.
