Position Overview

The successful candidate will assume the responsibilities of an Aircraft Captain, operating a range of modern aircraft. This role demands a high level of professionalism, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage complex flight operations effectively. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of aviation principles and a proven track record of safe and efficient flight management.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this pivotal role, applicants must meet the following stringent criteria:

  • Total Flight Time: A minimum of 4,000 hours of total flight time.
  • Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 1,000 hours of flight time as Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • Turbine Aircraft Experience: A minimum of 2,000 hours of flight time on turbine-powered aircraft.
  • Type Rating: A valid type rating is a mandatory requirement.
  • Specific Flight Experience: Candidates should possess a minimum of 2,000 hours of flight time in jet aircraft or high-speed turboprop aircraft. Additionally, extensive experience in Nordic winter operations is highly valued.
  • License Requirement: An Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is essential.
  • License Acceptance: Open to holders of EASA licenses. Non-Scandinavian EASA licenses are acceptable, provided they are converted prior to the commencement of any required training course.
  • Medical Certificate: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is required.
  • ICAO English Proficiency: A minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 5 is necessary.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Please note that visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.

This includes, but is not limited to, a thorough background check, a personal security interview, and mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
