Role Overview

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Valid EASA CPL(A) or MPL.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or 6.
  • Completed MCC course.
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Minimum of 400 hours on CS/FAR 25 aircraft.
  • Pilot licenses must be valid at the time of application. Licenses issued by Denmark, Sweden, or Norway are preferred; non-Scandinavian EASA licenses are accepted but must be converted prior to course commencement.
  • Successful completion of mandatory background screening, personal security interviews, and drug and alcohol testing in accordance with aviation regulations.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process for these positions is comprehensive and may include the following stages:

  • Online interview with an SAS representative.
  • Online cognitive and personality assessments.
  • Assessment Day (including group exercises, simulator session, and interview).
  • Final background, security, and medical checks.

Additional Information

Employment is subject to operational needs, training capacity, and successful completion of all mandatory security and medical screenings. Salary levels are determined by collective agreements.
