The First Officer (Co-Pilot) plays a crucial role in assisting the Pilot in Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient conduct of flights. Responsibilities include maintaining familiarity with aviation regulations and company operations manuals, monitoring flight progress, and acting as Pilot Monitoring according to established procedures. In emergencies, the Co-Pilot may be required to take decisive action to ensure flight safety. This position also entails reporting safety hazards and occurrences.
