Corporate Aviation Captain - The Pictsweet Company
The Pictsweet Company, experiencing substantial growth, seeks an experienced Corporate Aviation Captain to join its dedicated team. Based in Jackson, Tennessee, this position offers an exceptional opportunity for seasoned pilots to achieve enhanced work-life balance with reduced time away from home. The Captain will collaborate within a two-pilot team, assuming responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the company's Cessna Citation 650 aircraft. Responsibilities:
- Maintains a strong culture of safety within the Pictsweet Aviation Department, implementing efficient procedures that prioritize excellent customer service.
- Retains ultimate authority for the safe operation of the aircraft when designated as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Ensures the airworthiness of the aircraft prior to each flight.
- Verifies that all flight crew members thoroughly understand their assigned duties.
- Makes critical decisions regarding flight commencement, delays, diversions, or cancellations, promptly communicating these decisions to relevant personnel including the Aviation Manager, Chief Pilot, Scheduler, and Lead Passenger.
- Prepares or oversees the preparation of flight plans, meticulously considering factors such as altitude, terrain, weather conditions, range, weight, cruise data, airport facilities, and navigational aids.
- Performs essential tasks associated with aircraft operation during travel away from the home base.
- Ensures strict compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as Company policies and procedures.
- Promptly reports any known or suspected FAA violations or incidents to the Chief Pilot.
- Guarantees the availability of necessary passenger ground handling and transportation arrangements.
- Completes all required trip-related paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Oversees aircraft fueling procedures at the home base.
- Executes collateral duties as assigned by the Aviation Department.

Qualifications:
- Maintains an alcohol-free and tobacco-free lifestyle.
- Possesses an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a multi-engine land rating.
- Minimum of 4000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum of 1000 hours of multi-engine turbine flight time.
- Valid Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
