The Opportunity:
As a Perdue Pilot, you will be entrusted with the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations, as well as state and local guidelines. Your responsibilities will encompass both Pilot Flying (PF) and Pilot Monitoring (PM) roles, demonstrating versatility and expertise in diverse flight operations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure meticulous compliance with all applicable regulations, aircraft flight manuals, and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight assessments, including meticulous review of weather conditions, AIRMETS, SIGMETS, and any pertinent information impacting flight safety.
- Determine and verify fuel and oxygen requirements for each flight route.
- Oversee the completion of all pre-flight documentation, including dispatch papers, flight plans, and aircraft documentation.
- Maintain strict adherence to weight and balance parameters during all phases of flight.
- Execute precise flight planning and filing of company flight plans.
- Conduct thorough post-flight inspections after every landing/engine shutdown, promptly reporting any discrepancies to the Chief Pilot.
- Diligently observe flight time/duty time limitations as stipulated by company policies.
- Deliver comprehensive passenger briefings in accordance with company safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, and cabotage laws for international flights.
- Meticulously complete post-flight administrative duties, including recording flight times, fuel usage, and aircraft maintenance logs.
- Maintain the highest standards of aircraft security both at home base and at remote locations.
- Lead pre-flight crew briefings covering all aspects of flight safety, including taxi routes, inclement weather procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Foster exceptional Crew Resource Management (CRM) throughout all phases of flight operations.
- Collaborate effectively with the Pilot Monitoring (PM) to maintain situational awareness regarding traffic, terrain, airspace separation, weather conditions, and any potential hazards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Airplane Multi-Engine Land Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Valid Instrument Rating.
- Minimum of 1500 hours total flight time, including 400 hours Multi-Engine and 200 hours Turbo Prop experience.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Valid Passport.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative crew environment.
- Availability for weekend and holiday travel.
- Residence within an 80-mile radius of Salisbury, MD.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without restrictions.
Preferred Experience:
- ATP Certificate - Multi-Engine.
- King Air B200 experience.
- Embraer Phenom 300 type rating.
This position requires the physical ability to:
- Lift and maneuver travel bags onto aircraft.
- Move company aircraft utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Move equipment and supplies within the company hangar.
- Access files, supplies, and equipment as needed.
