Minimum Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Pilot First Officer position are required to meet the following strict Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and company operational criteria:
- Total Flight Time: Applicants must possess a minimum of 750 hours of total flight time.
- License Requirement: The candidate must hold a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate and meet all necessary hours and qualification criteria to comply with Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) requirements.
- FAA Credentials: Applicants must currently hold or have the ability to obtain an instrument rating and a Commercial Pilot License with Multi-Engine rating. Applicants must be a current CFI and actively instructing.
- Medical Certification: A valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not required for application, as comprehensive training will be provided by PSA Airlines upon hiring.
- Documentation and Eligibility:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
- Ability to obtain an FCC Restricted Radio Operators Permit.
