About the Role

Republic Airways is actively seeking First Officers to join their team in Indianapolis. This crucial role involves supporting aircraft Captains in the safe and punctual operation of the E-Jet family aircraft, specifically the Embraer E170 and E190. The successful candidate will operate across the U.S. and Canada, adhering to stringent company policies, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Possession of a High School diploma or GED.
• Meeting the minimum requirements for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (RATP) certificate.
• An ATP written examination is preferred.
• Fulfilling the current FAA and Company interview and hiring minimum age and flight hour specifications.
• Ability to comprehend and analyze technical procedures and governmental regulations.
• Proficiency in spoken and understood English, including clear communication during emergency situations.
• Physical capacity to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, and/or crawl.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
• Capability to lift or move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Adherence to the visual standards stipulated by FAA medical regulations.
• Ability to clearly hear verbal communications in various settings.
• Sufficient stamina to work extended and sequential duty days, adaptable to frequent changes in temperature, climate, and weather.
• Freedom of movement within the aircraft to perform all required functions effectively and rapidly in confined spaces.
• Ability to sit securely in the pilot's seat or assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modifications.
• Willingness and ability to work extended duty periods across sequential days, including varied schedules with early mornings, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Willingness to relocate according to the Company's operational requirements.

Qualifications

• ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
• The position is open to candidates who are non-type-rated for the E170/190 aircraft.
