Responsibilities:
As a Simulator Instructor, you will play a vital role in PSA Airlines' growth by ensuring the successful training and development of pilots. Working closely with the Check Airman Supervisor and Flight Training Administration, you will be responsible for:
- Providing early stage flight instruction in a Full Flight Simulator, along with occasional ground instruction
- Instructing Initial, Upgrading, and Transitioning PSA Pilots
- Adhering to Company Standard Operating Procedures
- Completing Student Training Records
- Performing developmental duties as assigned
- Ensuring compliance with the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS)
Qualifications:
- Eligible for CL-65 PIC Type Rating
- Holds Airline Transport Pilot License
- Possesses strong communication skills
- 121 instructor experience is highly recommended
- Previous 121 check airmen experience is preferred
- Must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the United States
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Additional Information:
- Work Environment: This position is based in a professional office environment. Standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, will be used regularly.
- Physical Demands: This position is primarily sedentary. However, the employee may frequently be required to stand, walk, climb stairs, lift up to 25 lbs, use hands to handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
- Security Clearance: All employees must pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC) and a pre-employment drug screen.
