Ornge, a leading Canadian air ambulance and critical care transport organization, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain to join its dedicated aviation team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to operate from key bases located in Moosonee, Kenora, and Toronto, Canada.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of patients, contributing directly to Ornge's life-saving mission across diverse and challenging environments. This position demands exceptional leadership abilities, a steadfast commitment to stringent safety protocols, and a comprehensive understanding of aviation regulations pertinent to air ambulance operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring the safe operation of assigned aircraft in accordance with company policy, Transport Canada regulations, and international standards.
• Exercising command authority and responsibility for the aircraft, crew, and passengers (patients/medical staff).
• Performing pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties with precision and professionalism.
• Maintaining high standards of flight discipline, airmanship, and crew resource management.
• Participating in ongoing training and development programs to maintain and enhance aviation competencies.
