Role Summary
The Captain - Demonstration Team is responsible for performing Trip Captain duties, supervising crewmembers, and representing Bombardier at major airshows and marketing events. This role requires extensive global flight operations, adherence to strict safety protocols, and the ability to serve as a technical ambassador for company products.
Key Responsibilities

Perform and supervise duties of the Trip Captain during all flight phases.

Conduct crew training on general operating procedures as defined in the Flight Operations Manual.

Counsel crewmembers and report safety-related abnormalities to the Chief Pilot.

Manage aircraft security, flight diversions, and regulatory compliance regarding customs, immigration, and cabotage laws.

Verify aircraft airworthiness and coordinate maintenance resolutions with the Chief of Maintenance.

Execute unrestricted worldwide flying operations and participate in key airshows.

Provide technical performance insights for Sales and Marketing.

Attain a second aircraft type rating and accumulate 500 flight hours on company products.

Attend the Bombardier Safety Standdown.
Requirements

FAA ATP Certificate.
-
FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
-
FCC Radio Permit.
-
Minimum of 3,500 total flight hours.

Minimum of 1,500 multi-engine turbine hours.

Capability for unrestricted worldwide travel, including maintenance of up-to-date immunizations.

Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and management.

Proficiency with iPads, email, and web-based applications.

Exceptional planning and organizational skills.

Ability to work in varying climatic conditions and cabin pressurization levels.
-
Ability to work duty days up to 16 hours, crossing multiple time zones.

Readiness to deploy for up to 16 days and maintain a flexible, changing schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience as a CFI/MEI or equivalent (e.g., ex-military instructor).

International flying experience.
-
Transport Canada ATPL and Category 1 Medical.

Type rating in a Bombardier aircraft (3500/6500/7500).

Prior demonstration pilot experience or Captain experience on Bombardier products.
