About the Role
OSF Aviation LLC is seeking a highly qualified Supervisor Pilot / Lead Pilot to oversee daily operations at assigned remote aviation bases. This pivotal role involves the supervision of Life Flight pilot personnel, coordination of activities, and active participation as a flight crewmember. The successful candidate will collaborate with the management team to implement and enforce Life Flight standards, ensuring the highest levels of safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily operations at remote aviation bases.
- Provide leadership and oversight to Life Flight pilot personnel.
- Coordinate all activities related to pilot operations.
- Actively perform duties as a flight crewmember.
- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of Life Flight standards.
- Contribute to the overall management and strategic direction of the aviation department.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certification
- FAA Instrument Rotorcraft Certification
- Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
- Experience:
- Minimum 2,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 100 hours as Helicopter Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Minimum 100 hours Helicopter Night Unaided flight
- Minimum 75 hours Instrument / Hood (at least 50 helicopter in flight)
- Minimum 500 hours Cross Country flight
- Minimum 500 hours Turbine Helicopter flight
- Age Requirement: Maximum age of 70 years.
- Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EC-145 aircraft experience
- Night Vision Goggle (NVG) experience
- Previous Civilian Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) experience
- Previous Single Pilot Instrument Flight Rules (SPIFR) experience
- Helicopter Multi-engine experience
- Helicopter ATP certification

Expected Pay Range: $107,619 - $126,630 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. This is a salaried position.
