Could you be our new Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor? You will be a part of our Crew Training department and report to Head of Training.

Your daily task will be to develop and update training courses in accordance with specifications and regulatory requirements for pilots. Assist HT in development and maintaining ground courses that falls under the ATO and its subsequent training. We also expect you to assist NPCT in development and maintaining ground courses that falls under the AOC and its subsequent training

You will be responsible for

• Ensuring that the content of all ground training sessions and syllabi complies with the requirements of Part-FCL, as well as satisfying the ATO and AOC’s needs and recommendations
• Ensuring that all students are informed about their training in due time
• Maintaining familiarity with all revisions to the aircraft types on which theoretical knowledge instruction is given, as well as modifications or new equipment in the aeroplanes in order to convey and teach current status to attending students
• Arrange, in co-operation with the HT, instructor meetings once a year
• Ensuring, in coordination with the HT, that the necessary training syllabi, compendiums, training aids in accordance with regulations and ATO’s standards are available and acceptable
• Informing the HT of any substandard performance of students and suggest corrective actions
• Procedure co-ordination if operating different aircraft types
• Ensuring, in co-operation with the HT, that all ground instructors maintain a high level of competence and knowledge in their field of instruction as well as their ability to convey their knowledge to their students
• Continuously reviewing all training syllabi, compendiums, procedures and training aids, in order to ensure conformity between training and teaching
• Ensure that all TKI/ GIs are fully familiar with the requirements of the distance learning course program
• Reviewing, at least once a year and more frequently if necessary, the examinations/tests in use for relevance of the content and to ensure that they are correct. This will be done together with the HT and/or instructors concerned.

This job will be for you if

• You have experience as pilot with ATPL theory, this is required
• You have experience as instructor, this is also required
• You have previous experience in Office 365 and especially PowerPoint, this is an advantage
• You are fluent in English and a Scandinavian language, verbal and written
