OSM Aviation Academy is actively seeking enthusiastic and qualified individuals to join its esteemed team as Aviation Instructors. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of future aviation professionals within a respected training organization.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aviation and a passion for education. While a type rating is not a prerequisite, comprehensive training will be provided.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or equivalent (ATPL or military equivalent) is required.
- Eligibility for EASA license endorsements is a key consideration.
- A valid Class 1 Medical certificate is mandatory.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English, meeting an ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 4 or higher, is essential for effective communication.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- An EASA Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (TKI) authorization or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
- Prior instructional experience within an Approved Training Organization (ATO) environment is advantageous.
- A relevant academic and/or operational aviation background, whether civilian or military, is highly valued.
- Previous experience in an aviation education or training role, again civilian or military, will be considered a significant asset.
- In-depth subject matter expertise in one or more ATPL theoretical subjects is sought.
- Strong communication and classroom delivery skills are crucial for effective knowledge transfer.
- Experience with Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) methodologies and modern learning platforms is beneficial.
