Norse Atlantic Airways invites highly qualified and experienced pilots to join its exceptional team as a First Officer on the state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The "EU Floating Base" contract means that pilots are not required to relocate. Norse Atlantic Airways assigns a European home base that rotates every few months based on operational needs, complemented by a generous commuter allowance to facilitate travel to and from assignments.
A basic salary is provided from the first day of training, along with a one-off accommodation allowance. Both B777/787 Type Rated and Non-Type Rated applicants are encouraged to apply. A substantial €10,000 Sign-on bonus is offered to B777/787 Type Rated Pilots who meet specific criteria.

What We Require From You:
Candidates must fulfill the following essential criteria to be considered for this position:
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU, with the ability to travel to all countries within the Norse Atlantic Airways route network.
- Hold a valid EASA Part FCL License.
- Possess an EASA Class 1 medical certificate, valid until at least 2025.
- Demonstrate Advanced English Language Proficiency, equivalent to ICAO Level 5 or higher.
- Ability to obtain a C/1D crew visa for the United States prior to commencing training.
- Successful completion of an enhanced background check and adherence to all other regulatory requirements.
- Meet the requirements for Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT) as specified in FCL.730.A (minimum 500 hours or 100 sectors on CS-25/Multi-Pilot Aircraft with more than 10 tons / 19 passengers).
- Must have successfully passed the ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge examinations in accordance with FCL.515. Applicants holding a CPL(A) with frozen ATPL are also eligible to apply.
- Hold a minimum of a CPL(A) with a multi-engine instrument rating (ME/IR). The expiry date of the ME/IR cannot exceed 12 months from the date of commencement of the course and must be valid on the date of assessment.
Only qualified candidates meeting these minimum requirements will be considered for an application. Applications that do not meet these criteria cannot be processed.
Assessment and Selection Process
The selection process for this esteemed position is structured into two comprehensive phases:
- Phase 1: An online interview conducted with the Norse Atlantic Airways Selection Panel.
- Phase 2: A comprehensive psychological assessment, which forms an integral part of the overall assessment and interview process.
Only candidates who successfully complete and meet the minimum standards during Phase 1 will progress to Phase 2. Please note that individual feedback on performance during each stage of the assessment process is not provided.
