Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1500 hours total flight time is required. For military pilots, a minimum of 800 hours total flight time is accepted.
- Multi-Engine Flight Time: Candidates must have accumulated at least 500 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not mandatory, as comprehensive type rating training will be provided by Norwegian.
- License Requirements: Applicants must hold a valid EASA Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with current Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificate, Multi-Engine (ME) rating, and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) qualification.
- Medical Certificate: Possession of a valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate is essential.
- English Language Proficiency: Demonstrable ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher is required.
- Right to Work: Candidates must possess the unrestricted legal right to live and work within the EU/EEC region.
- Passport: An unrestricted passport is mandatory.
- Security Clearance: The ability to pass a rigorous 5-year security background check and a clean criminal record are fundamental prerequisites for this role.
- Visa Sponsorship: Please note that Norwegian does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
