FLIGHT SIMULATOR INSTRUCTOR

Location: Dallas, TX

POSITION OVERVIEW

Phenom 300 Instructor Pilots to be responsible for the delivery of flight training in a flight simulator and ground school in accordance with the FAA, Company approved curriculum and other appropriate requirements. You will act as the subject matter expert (SME) in the creation of curricula and courseware, ready to lead pilots through their training utilizing the latest technologies and avionics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide simulator/flight and classroom instruction on the Phenom 300 aircraft as assigned for the issuance of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications
  • Responsible for conducting pre and post-flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner in accordance with Company standards
  • Other required administrative duties (completes training records, recommends remedial training when necessary, track his/her own instructional qualifications and activity, etc.)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a professional pilots’ license
  • 2,500 hours of total flight time with FAR Part 135 experience a plus
  • An unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
  • Minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating preferred
  • 500 hours of Single Pilot PIC time or Instructor giving dual instruction
  • Proven experience demonstrating a customer service orientation on work assignments
  • Previous experience teaching or training others preferred
  • Existing instructor qualification and Phenom 300 type rating preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency, Microsoft Office, and other internet-based programs
  • High School diploma or state-issued equivalent required, associate or college degree preferred

REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is required to report daily to CAE Training Facility in Dallas, Texas
  • Must be authorized to live/work in the United States
  • Must be able to participate in Company DOT Anti-Drug & Alcohol testing program
  • Must pass a pre-employment background screening
