Executive Jet Management Seeks Experienced Falcon 2000LX Lead Pilot in Command

EJM is seeking a qualified and experienced Lead Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Falcon 2000LX aircraft based in Bedford, MA (KBED). This is a 3-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and a Cabin Attendant, operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. This is a new account for Executive Jet Management, and preference will be given to candidates who are typed and experienced in the Falcon 2000LX and reside within a two-hour drive of KBED. The account will fly approximately 250 hours under Part 91 and 150 hours under Part 135 annually.
The Lead PIC serves as a peer leader within a designated flight department, focusing on effective crew resource management, client service, and the completion of flight department administrative duties. The Lead PIC actively participates in the flying schedule while adhering to all PIC duties and expectations.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Leads Flight Department Success: Manages client relationships while balancing the needs of the client and EJM, proactively communicating to address current or potential issues or opportunities. Works closely with maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with all aircraft maintenance events and regular tasks. Completes duties expected of the aircraft owner, such as invoice reviews, auditing, vendor relations, charter approvals, and crew schedules. Supports flight department crew members, motivating them to achieve goals while representing the EJM brand. Handles flight department administration matters, including supplies, subscriptions, and crew schedules.
- Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight: Ensures crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements. Completes flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks. Utilizes Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks. Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel. Acts as the Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator. Completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks to ensure the aircraft is mission capable and records discrepancies. Ensures all aircraft ground servicing items are monitored and accomplished. Completes passenger briefings and delivers the highest level of customer service. Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate with crew and support personnel clearly during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience: Provides quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Collaborates with crew members and EJM internal partners to provide a consistent service experience.
- Maintains Proficiency and Compliance: Maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience. Complies with the company's SMS program and reports safety or non-compliance concerns. Ensures all crewmembers remain qualified to act in their assigned capacity and comply with company policies.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet (Falcon 2000LX).
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Base Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is dependent on cabin size:
- Small/Mid/Supermid: $160,000 – $325,000
- Large/Heavy/Premium: $160,000 – $425,000
