Pilot in Command - Falcon 2000EX
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Falcon 2000EX aircraft based in Hayward, CA (KHWD). This two-pilot account, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, provides exceptional Part 91 flight operations.

Purpose of Position:
The PIC holds ultimate responsibility, ensuring the aircraft operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all company and regulatory requirements. This role demands a commitment to delivering a superior service experience for our discerning clientele.
Responsibilities:
Safety is Paramount:
- Ensure all crew and trip assignments adhere to company and regulatory guidelines.
- Meticulously complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for every flight.
- Proactively utilize the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead pre-flight briefings and mitigate potential operational risks.
- Maintain strict compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate seamlessly with company personnel. Act as the designated Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
- Diligently perform pre-flight inspections, verifying the aircraft's maintenance status and ensuring its mission readiness. Document any discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Supervise and ensure all ground servicing tasks, including fueling, oil, and oxygen services, are executed according to SOPs.
- Conduct thorough passenger briefings in line with company policy and regulations, consistently delivering the highest level of customer service and anticipating the needs of all passengers.
- Employ effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) techniques to communicate clearly and promptly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
Service Excellence:
- Provide exemplary service to aircraft owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities to elevate the EJM experience. Investigate and resolve service deviations promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to maintain a consistent and exceptional service experience. Exhibit strong conflict resolution skills, addressing challenges with professionalism and composure.
Professionalism and Compliance:
- Maintain all regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Adhere to the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program, reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels with transparency and integrity.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- 4-6 years of experience in a related field, with prior experience in corporate/business aviation highly desirable
- FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet (Falcon 2000EX)
- Proven ability to perform the essential job functions associated with the position
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
