F-35 Pilot Instructor

MIL is seeking a permanent, full-time F-35 Pilot Instructor to lead advanced F-35A pilot training. This role is based at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW, and RAAF Tindal, NT. The successful candidate will join an Australian provider of high-end training and support services to the ADF, contributing to Australia's 5th Generation Air Combat Capabilities.

About the Role

• Lead the delivery of advanced F-35A pilot training at RAAF Williamtown (Newcastle, NSW) and RAAF Tindal (Katherine, NT).
• Bring weapons-qualified and tactical-fighter expertise to an operational training environment.
• Work with a team fully integrated with the ADF to build the next generation of military warfighters.

Requirements

• Essential background: RAAF FCI/AWI qualifications, RAAF QFI/OFI recognised as a tactical expert, or a US military equivalent of Weapons Officer or Instructor Pilot.
• Significant 4th-5th generation fast-jet experience and qualifications.
• A current Defence NV2 security clearance or US equivalent.
• Ability to attain PV clearance.
• Must be an Australian or US citizen.
• A strong desire to contribute to the development and expansion of Australia's 5th Generation Air Combat Capabilities.
• Previous JSF experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Military pilot background with significant 4th-5th generation fast-jet experience and qualifications.
• Current Defence NV2 security clearance or US equivalent.
