About the Role

Brookfield Aviation is seeking experienced Embraer E190/E195 Type Rating Examiners (TRE) and Type Rating Instructors (TRI) for a 12-month renewable contract based in Africa. This role supports flight crew training and operational standards within an Embraer E-Jet operation. The position offers a favourable 8 weeks ON / 4 weeks OFF roster, with company-provided accommodation and expatriate support.

Requirements

• Valid ATPL
• Current Class 1 Medical
• Valid E190/E195 Type Rating
• Current TRE or TRI approval on type
• Minimum of 1,000 hours on type (E190/E195)
• ICAO English Level 4 or above
• TRE applicants: Strong instructional and examining experience
• TRI applicants: Proven flight training experience
• No accident or incident history
• No criminal record
• Professional attitude and strong commitment to aviation safety

Terms and Conditions

• Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable
• Remuneration: TRE USD 12,000 per month; TRI USD 11,500 per month
• Roster: 8 weeks ON / 4 weeks OFF
• Monthly Hours: Up to 85 block hours (overtime payable above 85 hours)
• Additional Pay: USD 100 per day for simulator sessions; USD 50 per overnight duty outside base
• Accommodation: Company-provided accommodation at base; hotel accommodation when operating away from base
• Travel: Return travel for rostered leave, simulator sessions, and training
• Logistics: Ground transportation for duty purposes
• Support: Access to airline's medical facilities; visa and work permit provided
