About the Role

Brookfield Aviation is seeking experienced Embraer E190/E195 Type Rating Examiners (TREs) and Type Rating Instructors (TRIs) for a renewable airline contract in Africa. This role supports flight crew training and operational standards within an Embraer E-Jet operation, offering an attractive 8 weeks ON / 4 weeks OFF roster, company-provided accommodation, and expatriate support.

Position Summary

The primary responsibility is to conduct flight crew training and checking on the Embraer E190/E195 aircraft. The position involves ensuring adherence to operational standards and contributing to the development of flight crew capabilities. The initial contract is for 12 months and is renewable, with a typical monthly block hour commitment of up to 85.

Requirements

• Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
• Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Valid Embraer E190/E195 Type Rating.
• Current TRE or TRI approval on the Embraer E190/E195.
• Minimum of 1,000 flight hours on the Embraer E190/E195.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
• TRE applicants require strong instructional and examining experience.
• TRI applicants require proven flight training experience.
• No history of accidents or incidents.
• No criminal record.
• Demonstrated professional attitude and commitment to aviation safety.

Terms and Conditions

• TRE Remuneration: USD 12,000 per month.
• TRI Remuneration: USD 11,500 per month.
• Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable.
• Roster: 8 weeks on duty / 4 weeks off duty.
• Monthly Block Hours: Up to 85.
• Overtime: Payable above 85 hours per month.
• Simulator Session Pay: USD 100 per day.
• Overnight Duty Pay: USD 50 per overnight duty outside base.
• Accommodation: Company-provided accommodation and hotel accommodation when operating away from base.
• Travel: Return travel provided for rostered leave, simulator sessions, and training.
• Ground Transportation: Provided for duty purposes.
• Medical Facilities: Access to airline's medical facilities on base.
• Visa and Work Permit: Provided.
