Compensation and Benefits:
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,000
- Retention Bonus: $5,000

- Minimum Base Annual Salary: $124,000 (Subject to offer letter terms and policy)

Job Objective:
The Pilot-in-Command (PIC) is responsible for all phases and aspects of the assigned duties and responsibilities, ensuring the highest standards of flight safety while upholding the Company's commitment to professionalism and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will maintain open and effective communication with supervisors, the Company, and clients, fostering exceptional interpersonal relationships to contribute to the Company's continued success.
Essential Functions:
- Exercise final authority over all aspects of aircraft operation at all times.
- Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills with customers, colleagues, management, and the general public.
- Adhere to a work and training schedule established by Metro Aviation, Inc., including occasional extra duty shifts when needed.
- Attend required Metro Aviation, Inc. or customer meetings.
- Comply with all directives and guidance outlined in the Metro Aviation, Inc. General Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, Policy & Procedures, Company Bulletins, Federal Aviation Regulations, and any other applicable regulations.
- Execute duties related to Operational Control as outlined in the Metro Aviation, Inc. General Operations Manual.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, servicing (fuel, oxygen, etc.), and confirm aircraft airworthiness.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned aircraft, including both the exterior (washing) and interior.
Requirements:

Required Certificates:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
- FAA 1st Class Medical
Minimum Required Experience:
- Total Time: 2,500 hours
- Total Pilot-in-Command Time: 1,000 hours
- Total Second-in-Command Time: 1,000 hours
- Total Cross Country Time: 500 hours
- Total Night Flight Time: 100 hours
- Total Instrument Flight Time: 75 hours (50 in flight)
Preferred Experience:
- Air Medical Operations
- International Operations
- High performance, high altitude, and complex endorsements (or equivalent 121/135 training documentation)
- Part 121/135 operations
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
- Ability to conduct activities requiring a moderate to rigorous amount of static pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting.
- Capable of lifting 40 pounds floor to bench height.
- Ability to hear and respond to routine aircraft noises.
- Ability to maintain a "duty" weight (body weight + uniform/equipment helmet not included) if applicable per program.
- Ability to wear a commercially available respirator mask with proper fit when requested.
- Requires close and distant visual capability.
- Periodic hands to key ability (typing).
Work Environment:
- Temperature controlled office/rest quarters.
- Exposure to outdoor aircraft facility with potential cold and hot temperatures.
- Exposure to running aircraft.
- Exposure to refueling systems.
Status & Work Schedule:
- Full Time
- 7 on / 7 off schedule
- 12 hour shifts
- Workover available depending on the needs of the program
