C208 Ground/Flight and Simulator Instructor
Martinaire Aviation seeks a dedicated and experienced C208 Ground/Flight and Simulator Instructor to join its team in Addison, Texas. Reporting directly to the Chief Pilot, the Instructor will play a vital role within the Training department. This individual will be entrusted with ensuring a successful and positive learning experience for every student, upholding the highest standards of conduct and professionalism. This position directly contributes to the development of a well-trained and cohesive pilot group, essential to the success of Martinaire Aviation.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction for portions of the MRA 14 CFR Part 135 Approved Training Program, as directed by the Chief Pilot or authorized personnel.
- Evaluate candidate performance and adherence to MRA policies and procedures in accordance with established training programs.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student growth and development.
Instructor Pilot - FAR 135.338
Qualifications:
- Meets all flight instructor qualifications outlined in 14 CFR 135.338.
Ground Instructor
Qualifications:
- Meets all requirements detailed in the General Training Manual.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction for portions of the MRA 14 CFR Part 135 Approved Training Program as directed by the Chief Pilot or authorized personnel.
- Administer non-flight examinations on behalf of the Chief Pilot.
General Qualifications:
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) credentials.
- Current and valid FAA Certified Ground Instructor certificate or an equivalent certification issued by ICAO.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience developing computer-based training courseware.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Current First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of experience in a leadership capacity within a FAR Part 141 pilot school, with experience conducting courses for Private Pilot, Instrument Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Multi-Engine Pilot, and Flight Instructor certifications.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Aviation, Management, Education, or a related field.
- To qualify as a VFR-only Captain:
- Commercial Pilot Certificate
- 500 hours Total Time
- 100 hours Cross Country
- 25 hours Night
- Instrument Rating
