Responsibilities
As a First Officer, the successful candidate will be characterized by openness, professionalism, and pragmatism. The First Officer is a dedicated team player who takes responsibility for their decisions and possesses a passion for flying and exploring new and exciting routes across Europe. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating City Airlines aircraft safely and efficiently.
- Acting responsibly and sustainably in all aspects of the role.
- Being ready and willing to actively shape the development of City Airlines.
Qualifications
In addition to strong decision-making skills and the ability to excel in a team environment, candidates for this vacancy are required to possess the following:
- EASA CPL(A) / IR(A) with ATPL theory credit and MCC or MPL (Phase 4 completed).
- Medical Class I certificate.
- A320 Type Rating or 500 total flight hours on CS-25 aircraft.
- Advanced UPRT training according to EASA.FCL.745.
- General higher education entrance qualification or an equivalent qualification.
- EU citizenship or an unrestricted residence and work permit for Germany.
- A passport with unlimited validity (if no EU passport is available, there must be no stricter entry restrictions than with an EU passport).
- Confident oral and written language skills in English (at least ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4).
- Selection is based on the standards of City Airlines, with potential recognition of prior Lufthansa Group selection procedures.
