Synthetic Flight Instructor A220 (BD500) – Further Qualification Opportunity
Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) Operations Germany, a leading European ATO, seeks experienced Type Rating Instructors (TRI) and Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFI) to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality training programs on full-flight simulators for Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, and Embraer aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions adhering to LAT OPS DE standards.
- Prepare and deliver training to meet client requirements.
- Develop and maintain training materials.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess extensive experience as a flight instructor within an airline or training organization and demonstrate the following:
- EASA ATPL (as TRI) or evidence of a previously held (and potentially expired) MPA type rating (as SFI).
- Valid MPA type rating with a valid TRI endorsement on B737, B757/767, or B777/787 (as TRI), or a valid SFI certificate according to Part-FCL.905.SFI for B737, B757/767, or B777/787.
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate (as TRI) or occupational medical fitness (as SFI; arranged by LAT).
- Minimum ICAO English Level 4.
- Native German speaker or German language proficiency at Level C1 (Expert User) or ICAO Level 5 “Extended”.
- Minimum 500 hours of instructing experience in an FSTD or aircraft.
- Proven experience in the airline or training organization training sector.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal, didactic, and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to travel.
- Willingness to qualify on additional aircraft types.
- Willingness to increase work hours to 80% during the qualification period (approximately 3 months).
