Synthetic Flight Instructor A220 (BD500) (M/W/D) - Further Qualification

Lufthansa Aviation Training Operations Germany GmbH (LAT OPS DE), one of Europe's largest ATOs, provides training on full-flight simulators for pilots from around the world on Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, and Embraer aircraft. To further expand its existing instructor team, LAT OPS DE seeks experienced Type Rating Instructors/Synthetic Flight Instructors for further qualification as Synthetic Flight Instructor A220 (BD500).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver theoretical and practical training in accordance with LAT OPS DE training standards.
• Prepare and execute training programs to meet customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain training materials.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess extensive experience as instructors within aviation companies or training organizations and demonstrate the following:

• EASA ATPL (as TRI) or proof of a previously acquired and potentially no longer valid MPA type rating (as SFI).
• Valid MPA type rating including a valid TRI entry on B737, B757/767 or B777/787 (as TRI) or a valid SFI certificate according to Part-FCL.905.SFI for B737, B757/767 or B777/787.
• Valid Class 1 medical certificate (as TRI) or occupational medical fitness (as SFI; arranged by LAT).
• Minimum ICAO English Level 4.
• German language proficiency: native speaker or language level C1 (= advanced language skills) or ICAO Level 5 "Extended".
• Minimum 500 hours of teaching experience in an FSTD or aircraft.
• Proven experience in the training field (airline or training organization).
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent social and didactic skills, teamwork, and customer orientation.
• Willingness to travel.
• Willingness to qualify on an additional aircraft type.
• Willingness to increase working hours (if necessary) to 80% during the qualification period (approx. 3 months).
