Aircraft Types & Locations

Opportunities are available for the following aircraft types at specified locations:

  • A320: Frankfurt (FRA), Berlin (BER), or Zurich (ZRH)
  • A220/BD500: Frankfurt (FRA)
  • A330/A350: Frankfurt (FRA) or Zurich (ZRH)
  • Q400: Frankfurt (FRA) or Berlin (BER)

Key Responsibilities

The Type Rating Instructor/Examiner will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive theoretical and practical training sessions in strict adherence to LAT OPS DE's established training standards.
  • Preparing and tailoring training programs to effectively meet diverse customer requirements.
  • Developing and continuously enhancing training materials to ensure their relevance and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates are expected to possess extensive experience as an instructor within flight operations or training organizations, in addition to demonstrating the following qualifications:

  • Valid EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Valid Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA) Type Rating, including a valid Type Rating Instructor (TRI) endorsement on at least one of the aforementioned aircraft types, or valid examiner authorization in accordance with Part-FCL.1005.TRE (a).
  • Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.
  • Proficiency in German language at Native Speaker level, C1 level (Proficient User), or ICAO Level 5 "Extended."
  • A minimum of 500 hours of instructor experience in a Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) or aircraft as a Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) or Type Rating Instructor (TRI).
  • Demonstrable experience within the airline training sector.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional social and didactic competencies, strong teamwork capabilities, and a keen customer-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to undertake travel as required.
  • Commitment to undergo qualification for an additional aircraft type.
