Minimum Requirements
- Type Rating: Not required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Flight Time Background: Previous jet pilot or Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) experience within the German Armed Forces is essential. Experience as a Flight Lead (FLB) or Upper Airspace Controller (ÜLB) is also highly valued.
- Preferred Experience: Direct experience with the Eurofighter aircraft or any modern single-seat weapon system is highly advantageous.
- Required Licenses: Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), and Multi-Engine (ME) endorsements are mandatory.
- License Recognition: Open to holders of EASA-issued licenses.
- Medical Certification: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is required.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency: A minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 4 is necessary.
