Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

  • License & Certification: Possession of a valid EASA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine (ME) endorsements.
  • Medical Fitness: Hold a current EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Language Proficiency: Demonstrate ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher, alongside proficiency in German.
  • Flight Experience: A distinguished background as a former jet pilot or Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) with the German Armed Forces, including experience as a former FLB/ÜLB.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a profound passion for teaching.
    • Exhibit exceptional reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
    • Possess a high willingness and ability to learn and adapt.
    • Maintain a careful, independent, and precise thinking and working style.
    • Show flexibility and willingness to work shifts as required.

Highly Desired Qualifications and Experience

While not strictly mandatory, the following qualifications and experience will significantly enhance a candidate's application:

  • Aircraft Specifics: Proven operational experience with Eurofighter aircraft or other modern single-seat weapon systems.
  • Instructional Background: Prior training or certification as a Weapons Instructor.
  • Crew Resource Management (CRM): Experience as a CRM Trainee or demonstrated expertise in applying CRM principles.
