Tactical Mission Instructor / Operational Pilot Recruitment

This role is ideal for experienced pilots transitioning from a military operational environment, particularly those with a background in modern tactical flight and instruction.
Essential Pilot and Experience Prerequisites
Prospective candidates must meet stringent flight time and licensing requirements necessary to maintain the high operational standards of GFD Aviation:
- Licensing Requirements: The applicant must possess a valid EASA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine (ME) endorsements.
- Medical Certification: A current Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- Language Proficiency: ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher is required.
- Flight Time Notes: Candidates must be former jet pilots or Weapon Systems Officers (WSOs) of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), preferably with experience from the former FLB/ÜLB (Flight Leadership/Instructor Training Units).
- Type Rating: A Type Rating is not required for application, as comprehensive training will be provided by GFD Aviation.
Preferred Operational Experience
While all qualifying candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to individuals demonstrating specific tactical and platform expertise:
- Significant operational experience with the Eurofighter platform.
- Experience operating a modern, single-seat weapon system.
