Air Japan is seeking experienced pilots to join its growing fleet of Boeing 787 passenger aircraft. Operating within Asia, with routes to China, Seoul, Bangkok, Singapore, and Honolulu, and further expansion planned, Air Japan offers a unique and rewarding career opportunity. These five-year contracts are based out of Narita, Japan, and are open to both type-rated and non-type-rated pilots with jet experience. Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- 3,000 total flight hours.
- Any jet rating.
- 500 hours of commercial jet experience.
- Military experience is acceptable.
- PIC requirements: 250+ hours PIC; or 70+ hours PIC and 180+ hours PICUS; or 500+ hours PICUS.
- 100 hours PIC cross-country.
- 200 hours cross-country.
- 100 hours night flight.
- 75 hours instrument flight.
- Valid ICAO ATPL or FAA ATP (Frozen ATPLs not accepted).
- Valid ICAO jet aircraft type rating (SIC/Co-pilot jet ratings not accepted).
- Valid ICAO command instrument rating.
- Valid ICAO Class 1 medical certificate.
- ICAO Level 4 English proficiency or higher.
- Possession of a Radio Operators Certificate for more than two years.

- Completed aeronautical experience form.
- Scanned copies of: ATPL, medical certificate, photo ID page of passport, the last six left and right pages of logbook (12 pages total), and a letter verifying flight hours from the current employer or relevant authority.
