About China United Airlines
As part of their strategic fleet expansion, China United Airlines is urgently hiring experienced foreign B737 Captains to support their increasing operational demands. The airline currently operates a fleet of 49 aircraft across 76 routes, primarily based at Shijiazhuang (Hebei) Airport, Foshan (Guangdong) Airport, and Beijing Daxing Airport.
China United Airlines offers a 3-year contract with a choice of roster to suit individual preferences, enabling pilots to live locally or commute. As standard with all Chinese airlines, China United Airlines will manage all Chinese income taxes. Additionally, crew members are afforded robust benefits including access to the Longreach Loss of Income and Life Insurance policies, underwritten by Lloyds of London.
Compensation and Benefits
The following comprehensive package is offered to B737 Captains:
- Roster Flexibility: 84 days of annual leave.
- Monthly Base Salary: USD 2,000
- Overtime Pay: USD 250/hour (minimum 20 hours, equating to USD 5,000 minimum overtime)
- Transportation Allowance: USD 500/month
- Living Allowance: USD 500/month
- Chinese Income Taxes: Paid by China United Airlines.
- Monthly Value (After Tax): Ranging from a minimum of USD 8,000 to a potential USD 21,750 (based on 75 flight hours per month).
- Benefits: Education Allowance, Sick Leave, and Medical Insurance within China.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Currently operating on the B737
- Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on the B737
- Minimum of 3,500 total flight hours
- Must have flown as Captain within the last 6 months
- Maximum age of 55 at the contract commencement date
- Possession of a valid ICAO rating
- Possession of a valid ICAO ATPL
- Possession of a valid First Class Medical certificate
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above
