Jetstar Japan Airbus A320 First Officer Positions

Jetstar Japan (JJP), based in Narita, Japan, and operating a fleet of 24 Airbus A320 aircraft (with additional aircraft on order), seeks experienced First Officers. This exciting opportunity welcomes applications from both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots, regardless of JCAB license status. JJP operates over 100 daily flights across 24 routes to 14 domestic and international destinations. Longreach Aviation, with its Japan-based office and local staff, provides comprehensive support throughout the application and employment process.

Compensation and Benefits:

This three-year renewable contract offers a highly competitive compensation package, including:

Annual Base Salary: JPY 8,520,000
Housing Allowance: JPY 155,000 per month
Productivity Pay: JPY 10,000 per hour (for hours exceeding 60 per month)
Sign-On Bonus: JPY 1,000,000
Commuting Allowance: JPY 100,000 per month
Layover Allowance: JPY 5,000 (Japan); JPY 4,000 (International)
Training Salary: 100% of base salary
Annual Leave: 20 days per year
Sick Leave: 24 days per year
Approximate Monthly Gross Salary: Approximately JPY 1,180,000

Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

A320 Type-Rated Pilots:

Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time
Minimum 1,000 hours on A320 family aircraft
Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC

Non-Type-Rated Pilots:

Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
Minimum 1,000 hours on commercial jet aircraft
Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC

Hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
Possess a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
Achieve ICAO English Level 4 or above.
