Jetstar Japan Airbus A320 First Officer Opportunities
Jetstar Japan is seeking qualified and motivated Airbus A320 First Officers to join its growing team. These positions are available to both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots, with or without a JCAB license.
Based out of Narita, Japan, Jetstar Japan (JJP) currently operates a fleet of 24 A320 aircraft and has additional aircraft on order. JJP flies 24 routes to 14 domestic and international destinations, conducting over 100 flights daily.
Longreach Aviation has a dedicated office in Japan with local staff to guide candidates through the application process and provide support throughout their time with Jetstar.
Benefits
Successful candidates will receive a comprehensive compensation package, including:
- Contract Length: 3 years renewable
- Annual Base Salary: JPY 8,520,000
- Housing Allowance: JPY 155,000/month
- Productivity Pay: JPY 10,000/hr > 60hrs/mth
- Sign On Bonus: JPY 1,000,000
- Commuting Allowance: JPY 100,000/mth
- Layover Allowance: JPY 5,000 (Japan) / JPY 4,000 (Outside Japan)
- Training Salary: 100% of base salary
- Annual Leave: 20 days per year
- Sick Leave: 24 days per year
- Estimated Monthly Salary (Gross): ~JPY1,180,000/mth (~USD11,074/mth)

Requirements
JCAB license holders are encouraged to apply.
A320 Type Rated Pilots:
- Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1,000 hours on A320 family aircraft
- Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC
Non-Type Rated Pilots:
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1,000 hours on commercial jet aircraft
- Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC
All Applicants:
- Must hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Level 4 or above
