Job Overview

Jetstar Japan has an immediate requirement for skilled and experienced Airbus A320 Captains. These positions are open to both pilots holding an A320 type rating and those seeking to obtain one. Candidates with a JCAB license will be given preference, whether or not they possess an A320 type rating. Applicants without a JCAB license are encouraged to apply if they hold an A320 rating, though consideration will be given to non-A320 rated pilots as well.

Jetstar Japan (JJP) operates a modern fleet of 24 Airbus A320 aircraft from its base in Narita, Japan. The airline serves 14 domestic and international destinations, operating over 100 flights daily. This role offers a significant opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding airline.

Requirements

Pilots holding a JCAB license are particularly encouraged to apply.

1. Minimum 4,000 hours of total flight time.
2. Minimum 3,000 hours on jet aircraft.
3. Minimum 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on jet aircraft.
4. Minimum 500 hours as PIC on Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft.
5. Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
6. ICAO English Level 5 or higher.
