Airbus A320 First Officer - Jetstar Japan

Jetstar Japan (JJP), headquartered in Narita, Japan, is seeking experienced Airbus A320 First Officers to join its growing operations. Currently operating a fleet of 24 A320 aircraft with further expansion planned, JJP maintains a robust network of 24 routes across 14 domestic and international destinations, conducting over 100 daily flights.

Role Overview

This position is open to both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots. Preference will be given to candidates currently holding a JCAB licence. Applicants without a JCAB licence should preferably hold an A320 type rating to remain competitive, though all qualified pilots are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will receive support throughout the application and employment process from Longreach Aviation’s local Japan-based staff.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).
Possess a current First Class Medical.
Maintain ICAO English Level 4 or above.
Hold, or be eligible to hold, Japanese permanent residency or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
JCAB licence holders are highly encouraged to apply.

A320 Type-Rated Requirements:

Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family.
Minimum 250 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC), or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.

Non-Rated Requirements:

Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.
Minimum 250 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC), or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.
