Jetstar Japan is seeking qualified First Officers for its Airbus A320 fleet, operating from its base in Narita, Japan.
About the Role
Jetstar Japan (JJP) is expanding its operations with a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft and an increasing network of domestic and international routes. This opportunity is available to both Airbus A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots. Preference will be given to candidates holding a JCAB licence, with or without an A320 type rating. Pilots without a JCAB licence will be considered, particularly those with an A320 rating, though applications from non-rated pilots are also welcome.
Requirements

A320 Type Rated Pilots:

Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.

Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family.

Minimum 250 hours Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours PIC Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours PIC.

Non-Rated Pilots:

Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.

Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.

Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.

Must hold or be eligible to hold relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.

Must hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).

Must hold a current First Class Medical certificate.

Must possess ICAO English Level 4 or above.
Qualifications

JCAB licence holders are encouraged to apply.

Pilots with an A320 type rating will be at a competitive advantage if they do not hold a JCAB licence.
