Jetstar Japan is seeking qualified First Officers to operate its fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft from its base in Narita, Japan. These positions offer a 3-year renewable contract and are available to pilots holding an A320 type rating and a JCAB license, as well as those without. About the Role
Jetstar Japan (JJP) operates a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft, serving 14 domestic and international destinations with over 100 flights daily. This role involves flying the A320 as a First Officer.
Requirements

A320 Type Rated Pilots:

Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.

Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family.

Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.

Non-Rated Pilots:

Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.

Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.

Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.

Hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.

Hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).

Current First Class Medical.

ICAO English Level 4 or above.
Qualifications

JCAB license holders are preferred, with or without an A320 type rating.

Pilots without a JCAB license are encouraged to apply if they hold an A320 type rating, though applications from non-A320 rated pilots are also accepted.
