First Officer – Airbus A320 – Jetstar Japan

Jetstar Japan (JJP) is seeking experienced Airbus A320 First Officers to join its expanding flight operations based at Narita, Japan. Jetstar Japan currently operates a fleet of 24 A320 aircraft, serving 14 domestic and international destinations with a rigorous schedule of over 100 flights daily.

Position Overview

The airline invites applications from both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots. Applicants with a JCAB licence are preferred, though non-JCAB holders are encouraged to apply. Longreach Aviation provides dedicated local support in Japan to guide successful candidates through the application process and throughout their tenure with the airline.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications and eligibility criteria:

Hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).
Possess a current First Class Medical.
Maintain ICAO English Level 4 or above.
Hold or be eligible for Japanese permanent residency or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.

A320 Type-Rated Pilots

Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family.
Minimum 250 hours PIC (or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC).

Non-Type-Rated Pilots

Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.
Minimum 250 hours PIC (or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC).
