Jetstar Japan Airbus A320 First Officer

Jetstar Japan has an opening for Airbus A320 First Officers. This opportunity is open to pilots who are A320 type-rated or non-type-rated, and who hold or are eligible to obtain a JCAB license. Pilots possessing a JCAB license are preferred, irrespective of A320 type rating. Candidates without a JCAB license are encouraged to possess an A320 rating to enhance their competitiveness, although applications from non-A320 rated pilots are still considered. Jetstar Japan, based in Narita, Japan, operates a fleet of 24 A320 aircraft with further aircraft on order, serving 14 domestic and international destinations. Longreach Aviation provides local support in Japan throughout the application process and employment term.

Requirements

JCAB license holders are welcome to apply.

  • A320 Type Rated Pilots:
    • Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time
    • Minimum 1,000 hours on A320 family aircraft
    • Minimum 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours PIC Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours PIC
  • Non-Rated Pilots:
    • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
    • Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline
    • Minimum 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours PIC Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours PIC
  • Must hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
  • Must hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).
  • Current First Class Medical certificate.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above.
