Aviation Career Opportunity: Airbus A320 First Officer at Jetstar Japan

Jetstar Japan (JJP) is currently seeking qualified Airbus A320 First Officers to join their flight operations team. Based in Narita, Japan, Jetstar Japan operates a fleet of 24 Airbus A320 aircraft, serving 14 domestic and international destinations with over 100 daily flights.

Candidate Requirements

Jetstar Japan welcomes applications from both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots. Preference is given to holders of a JCAB license. All applicants must meet the following criteria:

• General Requirements:
  • Current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA)
  • Current First Class Medical certificate
  • ICAO English Level 4 or higher
  • Possess, or be eligible for, Japanese permanent residency or an unrestricted right to work in Japan
• A320 Type Rated Pilots:
  • Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time
  • Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family
  • Minimum 250 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC), or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC
• Non-Rated Pilots:
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
  • Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline
  • Minimum 250 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC), or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC
