Jetstar Japan Airbus A320 First Officer Opportunities
Jetstar Japan is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join their team as Airbus A320 First Officers. These positions are open to both type-rated and non-type-rated pilots, with or without a Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) license.
The Opportunity
Jetstar Japan, based in Narita, operates a fleet of 24 A320 aircraft, with further expansion planned. The airline currently serves 24 routes across 14 domestic and international destinations, operating over 100 flights daily. Preferred Qualifications
While all qualified applications will be considered, preference will be given to pilots holding a JCAB license, regardless of A320 type rating. Pilots without a JCAB license, will need to hold an A320 type rating to be competitive. Non-A320 rated pilots, however, are still welcome to apply.

Required Experience and Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following:
A320 Type Rated Pilots:
- Minimum 2,000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum 1,000 hours on A320 family aircraft.
- Minimum 250 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time, or 180 hours Pilot-in-Command Under Supervision (PICUS) time and 70 hours PIC time.
Non-Type Rated Pilots:
- Minimum 3,000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum 1,000 hours of jet time with a commercial airline.
- Minimum 250 hours PIC time, or 180 hours PICUS time and 70 hours PIC time.
Additional Requirements:
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
- Must hold a current Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) (ICAO/EASA/FAA).
- Current First Class Medical certificate.
- ICAO English Level 4 or above.
