Jetstar Japan is seeking qualified individuals to join their operations as Airbus A320 First Officers. Positions are available for both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots, with or without a JCAB license. While pilots holding a JCAB license will be preferred, candidates without a JCAB license but with an A320 type rating will be considered competitive. Non-A320 pilots are also encouraged to apply. Jetstar Japan operates a fleet of A320 aircraft from its base in Narita, Japan, serving numerous domestic and international destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as a First Officer on the Airbus A320 aircraft.
• Adhere to all Jetstar Japan operational procedures and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

JCAB Licence Holders:

• JCAB Licence holders are welcome to apply.

A320 Type Rated Pilots:

• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family of aircraft.
• Minimum 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours as Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours as PIC.

Non-Rated Pilots:

• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.
• Minimum 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours as Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours as PIC.

General Requirements:

• Hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
• Hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).
• Possess a current First Class Medical certificate.
• Achieved ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above.

Contract Details and Benefits

• Contract Length: 3 years, renewable.
