About the Role
Jetstar Japan seeks qualified Airbus A320 First Officers for its operations based at Narita, Japan. This role is open to both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots, with preferences extended to those holding a JCAB licence. Jetstar Japan operates a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft, serving numerous domestic and international destinations.

Pilots holding a JCAB licence are encouraged to apply.

A320 Type Rated Pilots:

Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.

Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family.

Minimum 250 hours Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours PIC Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours PIC.

Non-Rated Pilots:

Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.

Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.

Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.

Must hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).

Current First Class Medical certificate.

ICAO English Level 4 or above.

Must hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
Qualifications
While not strictly mandatory, an A320 type rating and a JCAB licence are preferred for non-rated applicants to be competitive.
