Job Description

Jetstar Japan is seeking qualified individuals for the role of Airbus A320 First Officer. These positions are open to both A320 type-rated and non-type rated pilots. While pilots holding a JCAB licence will be prioritized, applications are welcomed from candidates with or without such a licence. A competitive profile for non-JCAB licence holders would include an A320 type rating, though applications from non-A320 rated pilots are still considered. Jetstar Japan, based at Narita, Japan, operates a fleet of 24 A320 aircraft with ongoing fleet expansion and serves numerous domestic and international destinations.

Requirements

• Pilots holding a JCAB licence are encouraged to apply.
• A320 Type Rated Pilots:
  • Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family.
  • Minimum 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours as Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours as PIC.
• Non-Rated Pilots:
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.
  • Minimum 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours as Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours as PIC.
• Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
• Must hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).
• Must hold a current First Class Medical certificate.
• ICAO English Level 4 or above.
