Job Title: Airbus A320 First Officer - Jetstar Japan

Jetstar Japan (JJP) is currently seeking qualified Airbus A320 First Officers to join its expanding operations based in Narita, Japan. Jetstar Japan operates a fleet of 24 A320 aircraft across 24 domestic and international routes, facilitating over 100 flights per day. Successful candidates will be supported throughout the application and employment period by the local Longreach Aviation team in Japan.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA), a First Class Medical, and ICAO English Level 4 or above. Additionally, applicants must hold or be eligible to hold Japanese permanent residency or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.

A320 Type Rated Pilots

Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
Minimum 1,000 hours on A320 family aircraft.
Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.

Non-Rated Pilots

Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.
Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.

Preference is given to applicants holding a current JCAB licence. While A320-rated pilots without a JCAB licence remain competitive, non-A320 pilots are also encouraged to apply.
