Job Overview

Jetstar Japan is actively recruiting experienced and aspiring Airbus A320 First Officers. This exciting opportunity is open to pilots holding an A320 type rating or those looking to obtain one, and is available to individuals with or without a JCAB license. While preference is given to candidates holding a JCAB license, with or without an A320 type rating, and to pilots with an A320 rating if they do not hold a JCAB license, all qualified pilots are encouraged to apply. Jetstar Japan, operating from Narita, Japan, boasts a substantial fleet of 24 A320 aircraft with further expansion planned. The airline services 24 routes to 14 domestic and international destinations, facilitating over 100 flights daily.

Requirements

Applications are welcomed from pilots holding a JCAB license.

A320 Type-Rated Pilots:

• Minimum 2,000 hours of total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family of aircraft.
• Minimum 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours as Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours as PIC.

Non-Rated Pilots:

• Minimum 3,000 hours of total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours of jet time with a commercial airline.
• Minimum 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours as Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours as PIC.

General Requirements:

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
• Must hold a current ATPL (ICAO, EASA, or FAA).
• Must possess a current First Class Medical certificate.
• Must demonstrate ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above.
