Jetstar Japan - Airbus A320 First Officer

Jetstar Japan is seeking qualified and highly motivated First Officers to join its Airbus A320 team. These positions are available to both A320 type rated and non-type rated pilots, with or without a JCAB license. Pilots holding a JCAB license will be given preference, regardless of their A320 type rating status. While pilots without a JCAB license and an A320 rating are still encouraged to apply, holding an A320 rating will make their application more competitive.

Jetstar Japan (JJP), based in Narita, Japan, operates a fleet of 24 A320 aircraft, with further aircraft on order. The airline currently flies 24 routes to 14 domestic and international destinations, operating over 100 flights daily.

Requirements:

• JCAB license holders are welcome to apply.
• Hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
• Must hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).
• Current First Class Medical.
• ICAO English Level 4 or above.

Experience Requirements:

A320 Type Rated Pilots:

• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours on A320 family.
• Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.

Non-Rated Pilots:

• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.
• Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.
