Jetstar Japan - Airbus A320 First Officer

Jetstar Japan is seeking qualified and motivated First Officers to join its Airbus A320 fleet. These positions are available to both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots, with or without a JCAB license.

Preference will be given to pilots holding a JCAB license, regardless of their A320 type rating status. Pilots without a JCAB license should ideally possess an A320 rating to be considered competitive; however, non-A320 rated pilots are still encouraged to apply.

Jetstar Japan (JJP), based in Narita, Japan, currently operates 24 A320 aircraft and has plans for fleet expansion. JJP flies over 100 flights daily across 24 routes to 14 domestic and international destinations.

Longreach Aviation provides support with a local office in Japan, assisting candidates throughout the application process and during their tenure with Jetstar.

Requirements:

• JCAB license holders are welcome to apply.
  • A320 Type Rated Pilots:
    • Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
    • Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family.
    • Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.
  • Non-Rated Pilots:
    • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
    • Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.
    • Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.
• Must hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
• Must hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).
• Must hold a current First Class Medical.
• Must demonstrate ICAO English Level 4 proficiency or above.
