First Officer - Airbus A320

Jetstar Japan is seeking qualified First Officers for its Airbus A320 fleet. Positions are open to pilots who are A320 type-rated or non-type-rated, and who hold or are eligible to obtain a JCAB licence. Pilots with a JCAB licence are preferred, with or without an A320 type rating. Non-JCAB licence holders with an A320 rating will be considered competitive, though applications from non-A320 rated pilots are also accepted. Jetstar Japan operates a fleet of 24 Airbus A320 aircraft from its base in Narita, Japan, serving 14 domestic and international destinations.

Benefits

Requirements

A320 Type Rated Pilots:

• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family.
• Minimum 250 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC), or 180 hours PIC Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours PIC.

Non-Rated Pilots:

• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.
• Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.

All Applicants:

• Must hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
• Must hold a current ATPL (ICAO, EASA, or FAA).
• Must hold a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Must have ICAO English Level 4 or above.
