Job Opportunity: Airbus A320 First Officer – Jetstar Japan

Jetstar Japan (JJP) is currently seeking qualified Airbus A320 First Officers to join its growing flight operations team. Based in Narita, Japan, the airline operates a fleet of 24 A320 aircraft, serving 14 domestic and international destinations with over 100 daily flights.

Position Benefits

Successful candidates will be offered a renewable three-year contract. Jetstar Japan provides a competitive remuneration package. Local support staff are available through the recruitment partner to assist throughout the application process and during the tenure of the contract.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).
• Current First Class Medical certificate.
• Minimum ICAO English Level 4 proficiency.
• Must hold, or be eligible for, Japanese permanent residency or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
• Candidates holding a JCAB licence are preferred.

Specific Flight Experience Requirements

A320 Type Rated Pilots:

• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours on A320 family aircraft.
• Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.

Non-Type Rated Pilots:

• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.
• Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.
