Jetstar Japan is seeking experienced Airbus A320 First Officers to join their operations based in Narita, Japan. This role offers a renewable 3-year contract and a competitive remuneration package for qualified pilots.

About the Role

Jetstar Japan (JJP) operates a growing fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft, serving numerous domestic and international destinations. This opportunity is open to both A320 type-rated and non-type-rated pilots, with preference given to those holding a JCAB licence. The company provides support through its local Japanese office.

Requirements

• A320 Type Rated Pilots:
  • Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours on the A320 family.
  • Minimum 250 hours Pilot in Command (PIC), or 180 hours PIC Under Supervision (PICUS) and 70 hours PIC.
• Non-Rated Pilots:
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours jet time with a commercial airline.
  • Minimum 250 hours PIC, or 180 hours PICUS and 70 hours PIC.
• Hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Japanese permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Japan.
• Hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA).
• Current First Class Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to pilots holding a JCAB licence. Applicants without a JCAB licence but possessing an A320 type rating will be considered competitive. Non-type-rated pilots are also encouraged to apply.
