Overview of Role
The First Officer is a critical member of the flight crew within Loganair. As a First Officer, you will work alongside a Captain to ensure the safe and efficient operation of flights.
Key Responsibilities
The main activities that will be carried out by a First Officer include the below. As would be expected the below is not exhaustive and reasonable responsibilities not listed below will be carried out, with training and support provided where required.

Assist the Captain in all phases of flight, including pre-flight briefings, flight planning, and aircraft performance calculations.

Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is in an airworthy condition and all necessary documentation is complete.

Operate the aircraft in compliance with standard operating procedures, company policies, and aviation regulations.

Monitor weather conditions, communicate with air traffic control, and make necessary adjustments to flight plans to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Maintain accurate flight records, including flight logs, duty times, and maintenance discrepancies.

Follow all safety procedures, including pre-flight safety checks, emergency briefings, and adherence to aviation safety regulations.

Assist in the event of an emergency, including evacuations, securing the aircraft, and providing support to passengers and crew.

Provide exceptional customer service to passengers by ensuring a comfortable flight experience.

Participate in recurrent training programs to maintain and enhance skills, knowledge, and qualifications.

Essential Criteria

Eligible to live and work indefinitely in the UK

Hold a valid passport which permits unrestricted worldwide travel

The holder of English language proficiency to ICAO level 4 or above

The holder of a current UK CAA Licence (CPL, MEIR, A-UPRT & MCC)
