Captain / First Officer - Pilatus PC-12
A well-established aviation operator is expanding its fleet with the addition of two Pilatus PC-12 aircraft and is seeking experienced Captains and First Officers to support its growing flight operations. Based in the South East, UK, the successful candidates will contribute to a dynamic team operating chartered and non-chartered flights across the UK and Western Europe. The role primarily involves multi-crew operations aboard the PC-12, with potential for future single-crew operations supporting private owners.
Operational Details:
- Rotation: The position follows a 5 days on / 4 days off rotation pattern.
- Flying Expectation: Flying duties are expected on approximately 4 out of the 5 days while on rotation. Additional days off are provided as necessary to maintain the operational rotation balance.
- Base Location: The base of operations is located in the South East of the UK.
- Aircraft Utilisation: Aircraft are utilised for an estimated 400–500 hours annually.
- Crew Structure: The crew team comprises a mix of full-time and part-time pilots.
Compensation and Benefits:
- First Officer Salary: A competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum is offered for the First Officer position, dependent on experience.
- Per Diem: A per diem allowance of £60 is provided per day while on duty away from base.
- Benefits: The benefits package includes private healthcare coverage (with options for family coverage at an additional cost), a company pension scheme with contributions ranging from 5% to 6%, and death in service compensation.
Selection Process:
- The interview process typically involves an initial interview with the Chief Pilot and a representative from Human Resources.
- If deemed necessary, a test flight in a twin-engine Piper-type aircraft may be required to assess the candidate's Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills and handling proficiency.
