A prominent provider of mission-critical helicopter services seeks a highly skilled HEMS Pilot to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis in Norwich, Norfolk. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital air ambulance, police, and offshore operations. The successful candidate will operate the H145 D3, engaging in diverse and challenging flying scenarios, including HEMS and NVIS operations.
This position requires a minimum of 2000 hours of total helicopter experience, with 1000 hours pilot in command of aircraft, with 500 hours pilot in command on twin-turbine helicopters; OR 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS operations, with 500 hours as pilot in command under supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin-turbine helicopters. Additionally, 500 hours of operational experience in twin-turbine helicopters, 20 hours VMC at night as pilot in command, current or recent HEMS experience, and demonstrated experience with Night Vision Goggles are essential.
Candidates must hold a UK ATPL(H) and be qualified and instrument rated on the EC145. Fluent English, a valid driving license, a passport, and the right to work in the UK are also required. The ability to achieve SC clearance is mandatory.
